Free medical treatment provided to FATA schools

FATA Health Directorate has provided free of cost diagnostic, checkup and medicines facilities to as many as 3,607 children of primary school of Khyber and Mohmand Agencies of FATA.

According to a press release issued here said that Health Directorate conducted free checkup of students, provided medicines to students having common seasonal illness, anemia, skin and eye problems.

The students were checked up for refractive errors and managed on spot it said adding that their hepatitis and AIDs screening tests were also conducted.

The directorate also arranged awareness lectures on personal hygiene and preventive measures to prevent communicable diseases. The people of the areas thanked Director Health Services, FATA secretariat on providing such facilities for FATA people.
