Up to ten thousand candidates appeared in the University of Peshawar Aptitude test for admission into the BS four year degree program held at the main cricket gound of UoP.
The candidates have appeared for admission against approximately 1500 allocated seats in the 25 different disciplines of varsity where BS program is being offered.
Vice Chancellor UoP Prof. Dr. Muhammad Rasul Jan himself monitored the test. He was accompanied by Registrar Dr. Syed Fazl-i-Hadi, Director Admissions Prof. Dr. Hizbullah Khan and other officers of the University. Besides around 200 invigilating staff were also deployed and assigned the task of smooth conduction of the test.
Four separate categories of test ranging from Pre-Medical (UAT-PM), Pre-Engineering (UAT-PE), Computer / Commerce / General Science (UAT-CCGS) Art & Humanities (UAT-AH) were designed for the candidates seeking admission in various discipline.
The result of the test would be announced on Wednesday September 17, 2014 and would be displayed on the University of Peshawar website: www.upesh.edu.pk wherefrom students can check their results.
It is pertinent to mention that after the result the provisional merit list would be displayed in the respective departments on September 22, 2014 whereas the final merit list of candidates can be seen on September 26 2014. Classes for the new session of BS program would start from 6th October 2014.
