2-day art exhibition begins in Home Economic College Peshawar

Two-day art exhibition “Rangoli” organized by College of Home Economics, University of Peshawar got underway in Sahibzada Abdul Qayum Hall on Thursday. 

Dr. Ghazala Nizam Principal of the college inaugurated the exhibitions in which former students of Home Economics’ and alumni of UoP Iqbal Banu’s paintings, designs, jewelries and dresses were displayed which were quite attractive and awesome according to number of students visited the exhibition. 

Displayed paintings portrayed landscape, calligraphy and the pictures of rural and urban culture of Pakistan. 

Iqbal Bano while briefing about the exhibition said that art models displayed in the event were from her handmade collection and in order to motivate women for the usage and making of handmade goods it were displayed in the exhibitions, she added.
