Around 350 schoolteachers reportedly sacked by the UNCHR and a non-governmental organisation Basic Education For Awareness Reforms and Empowerment (Befare) have announced to stage protest against the decision here on Wednesday.

Some of the terminated teachers said that they had been teaching in schools set up by the UNCHR and Befare in Afghan refugee camps for the past five years, but the UNHCR terminated their services without any reason. The sacked teachers said they would protest outside the UNHCR offices in Peshawar and also move the court against the sacking.
