APTA to observe Black Day on June 21

All Primary Teachers Association on Tuesday hold a protest and announced to observe Black Day on June 21.

Malik Khalid Khan, Bacha Mehmood, Shah Baba and other 150 teachers participated in the protest while APCA Founder Aslam Khan also present. 

Aslam Khan, Malik Khalid Khan, Bacha Mehmood and Shah Baba addressed the protest rally and said that the increase of 15 percent in government servants pay is not acceptable and demanded the increase up to 50 percent. 

They said that government servant would go to any extend to achieve it and would not be afraid of any sacrifices. The speakers said that on June 25 the government servants would give a sit-in in Islamabad. 

APCA had passed a declaration in which the killing of teachers who were performing the duty of polio team was condemned and it was decided that 73 thousand teacher would boycott polio campaign. It was also demanded that the heirs of the decease should be given incentives.
