Aqil Shah inaugurates college at Dheri Baghban Peshawar

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Sports Syed Aqil Shah on Monday inaugurated the newly constructed Bacha Khan Government Girls Degree College Dheri Baghbanan. Secretary Higher Education Farah Hamid, College Principal Safia Gul, ANP PK-4 President Zahid Hussain, President Dheri Baghbanan Ward Aamir Sabir and Wards Presidents and Secretaries of PK-4 were also present on the occasion.

Aqil Shah said Baba-e-Amn Bacha Khan considered education necessary for the development of Pakhtuns and used to say that to bring Pakhtuns at par with other developed nations of the world, the achievement of education was the only way. He said for the purpose, Bacha Khan had establishment 100 Azad Schools. 

Aqil Shah said the ANP-led provincial government gave full concentration to promotion of education in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He said the present Bacha Khan Govt: Girls Degree College Dheri Baghbanan would prove a milestone in promotion of girl’s education. Syed Aqil Shah went on to say that education could not be completed without sports; therefore, the entire education institute should give equal focus to curricular and co-curricular activities.

The Minister thanked Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Amir Haider Khan Hoti, Provincial Minister Higher Education, Qazi Muhammad Asad and Secretary Higher Education for their efforts and cooperation in establishment of Bacha Khan Girls Degree College.
