Minister Education, Energy and Power Muhammad Atif Khan Inaugurated Adult Literacy and non formal basic education centre along with a library for prisoners at Peshawar central jail.
The motive behind this initiative is to bring back the prisoners into mainstream via knowledge and education.
The setup in Peshawar jail is for the prisoners who want to continue their education and also get acquainted with what’s happening in outside world.
