Beaconhouse School System, Cantt Branch on Wednesday hold Drama Festival 2013 in which students from the Pre-Nursery, Nursery and Kindergarten participated and enthralled the audience, mostly parents, with their performance.
The whole program was well prepared and well rehearsed as children performed confidently. Ahmed Ayub of KG Red recited the verses from the Holy Quran to start the function.
Head Mistress of the school Ms Irum Raza in her opening speech welcomed the parents and informed them about the progress of the school. She said that in order to give the students a chance to take part in extracurricular activities BSS always arrange such events as extracurricular activities helped giving the confidence to the students.
Pre-nursery students performed on the poem ‘Ducks Like Rain’ while the nursery students performed on ‘Old McDonald’. The students of class 3, 4 and 5 were signing the poems for the performers. The music was arranged and played by Danish Yousaf.
The students also sang Jeway Jeway Pakistan and also present a tableau on peace. The students of class KG Blue performed a story Bear Hunt which was highly applauded by the audience. Umar Ali Sheikh of class KG Blue was the main speaker in the story.
In the end a puppet show by Nursery and the story Emperor and The Nightingale was presented by KG Red.
