A bilingual speech contest has been arranged today for the schoolchildren in connection with the Miladun Nabi (SAW).
According to a press release, the Gandhara Hindko Baord, which is a literary, cultural and social welfare organization, has organized the contest in Pashto and Hindko languages as part of its new activities to create awareness among the schoolchildren about their mother tongues.
The contest will start at 9 am and end at 2 pm. The children from various schools will make speeches on the Seeratun Nabi (SAW). A leader of the Pakistan People’s Party, Khwaja Yawer Naseer, will preside over the ceremony while an Awami National Party leader, Syed Aqil Shah, is expected to be the chief guest.
