Parents of students from different private and government schools have demanded the Board for Intermediate and Secondary Education Peshawar (BISEP) to further delay the 9th and 10th final examinations. The parents were of the view that due to the increased Winter Vacation in the aftermath of Peshawar tragedy on December 16, the course of the students was still not finished and they need more time for the preparations of the exam.
The board has already delayed the exams by a week time. Principal of the Superior Model School and Iqra Academy, Yakatoot Ms Asma Khaliq talking to The Frontier Post said that the parents were contacting the school administration on daily basis while showing their concerns over the dates of the board examinations.
She said that although the schools could manage to finish the course well in time but the students would require some more time to revise the syllabus.
Nadeem Khan, teacher of English at a private school said that if the BISEP could extend the dates of the board exams it would be beneficial for the students and they would get more time to study. Otherwise there would result might not be up to the mark.
