In order to mark the World Environment Day as well as educating students about the importance of clean environment a special event was organized on Saturday in Government Centennial Model School Peshawar City with collaboration of Wild Life Khyber Pukhtunkhwa.
Students presented special skits and speeches regarding the environment as well as special documentary about wild life, especially about the animals which were termed indigenous species were show to the students.
Chief Conservator Wild Life Khyber Pukhtunkhwa Mubarak Ali Shah and Principal of the school Islamuddin addressed the students and informed them about the importance and preservation of environment.
Teacher of the school Maulan Fazli Rabbi present his speech on “Islam and Environment”. Appreciation certificates were distributed among the students at the end of the event.
