Minister for Sports, Tourism and Youth Affairs Syed Aqil Shah has said that classes in newly built Bacha Khan Degree College Landi Arbab will start from December 15. He said that the remaining work on classrooms, administration block, science laboratory, cafeteria, students’ hostel and auditorium would be completed by March 2013. During the visit of the college on Saturday, the Provincial Minister accompanied by Secretary Higher Education Farah Hamid, Chief Planning Officer Higher Education Zaman Marwat and Principal of the college Safia Gul Sahibzada showed satisfaction over the performance of C & W on construction of the college building. Aqil Shah said that the college would prove to be helpful for the female students of his constituency (PK-4).
He thanked Chief Minister Amir Haider Khan Hoti and and Provincial Minister for Higher Education Qazi Asad for their cooperation in completion of the college.
He said the faculty of the college would be hired on the basis of merit and best possible teachers would be provided to the students. He also said the ANP government had made remarkable development in the education sector.
