Cold weather: Ayub demands closure of schools in KP

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Agriculture Arbab Ayub Jan has demanded the provincial government to close all the educational institutions for 15 days as a precautionary measure against the chilly weather.

Talking to media on Tuesday, the minister said that the ongoing spell of very cold weather children was dangerous for the health of school going children. He said the government should announce 15 days of winter vacations in all educational institutions of the province.

He said the children were getting affected from the cold weather as they have to go to schools early in the morning in chilly weather. He said the schools should be closed from Jan 10 to Jan 25.
