A The Finance Committee of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly has approved the complete computerization of the Assembly Secretariat.
The decision was taken in a meeting of the committee held with Speaker, Asad Qaiser in the chair here in Assembly Secretariat on Thursday.
Those who attended were included Provincial Minister for Finance, Muzaffar Said, MPAs Shah Hussain, Arbab Jehandad, Ziaullah Bangash and Fazal Hakim while Secretary, Provincial Assembly, Amanullah Khan, Director, IT, Attaullah Khan, Director Finance, Arsala Khan and other concerned authorities assisted the committee.
The meeting approved the starting of e-governance and complete computerization of the Provincial Assembly Secretariat.
Speaking on the occasion, the Speaker, Asad Qaiser said that with the introduction of e-government system all system of the assembly secretariat from filing system to assembly debate, accounting, library, parking, transport, employees, particularly drivers will also be computerized.
Similarly, he said that the data of guests coming to the assembly secretariat will also be computerized and after the introduction of the system its performance will become a precedent for other organizations.
