Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Science & Information Technology (S&IT), Mohammad Ayub Khan Thursday inaugurated the project of the computerization of Government Printing Press, Peshawar.
Those present on the occasion were included Secretary, Science & Information Technology, Ahmad Hassan Khan, Director, I.T, Bilal Jabbar, Controller, Government Printing Press, Kaleemullah Khan and other authorities concerned.
The provincial minister on this occasion was given detailed briefing on the project and was told the provincial government is computerizing all public sector organizations through the Directorate of Information Technology and for this purpose the provincial government has already established Information Technology Facilitation Centre.
Under the project, all provincial departments will be provided the facilities of hardware, software, networking and web-sites.
Speaking on the occasion, the Provincial Minister for Science & Information Technology, Ayub Khan appreciated the performance of the department and directed it for utilization of all resources for timely completion and success of the projects in the information technology sector.
