A condolence reference will be held under the auspices of Department of Botany at the Botany Hall, Islamia College University Peshawar on Friday to pay homage and acknowledge the services of late Prof. Dr. Shahrukh Chughtai, who died in Rawalpindi on December 10 last. According to Prof. Dr. Syed Zahir Shah, Dean, Faculty of Life Sciences, ICUP, teachers of the department, students and former teachers and pupils of Dr. Chughtai would attend the reference.
The main speakers included former Vice Chancellor the University of Agriculture, Peshawar, Dr. Khan Bahadur, former senior teacher Prof. Habibur Rehman Khattak and others.
