Education, Health, Tourism and Communication ADP to have special place for these sectors

Access to Education, both Elementary & Secondary and Higher Education, Health and environmental protection plus promotion of tourism will be on the top of the priorities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government in the upcoming budget.

This and many more policy decisions of far much for the up-left of the militancy and terrorism hit Province were taken in a high level meeting held in the Pakhtunkhwa House, Islamabad under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Prvez Khattak to which PTI central leaders and MNAs Imran Khan, Shah Mahmood Qurieshi, Asad Umar, Jahangir Tarin, Speaker KP Assembly Asad Qaisar were special invited while Provincial Ministers Shahram Khan Tarakai, Shah Farman, Muhammad Atif, Ali Amin Gandapur, Advisor to Chief Minister Rafaqatullah Baber, Chief Secretary Amjad Ali Khan, Additional Chief Secretary PE&DD, Khalid Parvez, Secretary Finance Syed Said Badshah Bukhari, Secretaries C&W, Industries, Education, both Elementary & Secondary and Higher, Tourism and other high ranking officers participated. 

The authorities of Galyat Development Authority also participated. Various communication and road network schemes were also thoroughly discussed and it was decided that efforts should be made to take them up so that the problems of inaccessibility of a number of fertile and picturesque areas are resolved. 

The participants of the meeting regretted that the federal Government was on the one hand delaying payments of due rights of the Province on different pretexts while on the other always releases a very small chunk of the amount meant for the schemes otherwise proudly reflected in the PSDP at the time of the announcement of successive federal budgets. 

It was relabeled on the occasion that while the National High Ways authorities were making tall claims of taking up mega developmental in other parts of the country, the KP government has been advancing it grants and loans for timely execution of different projects but even then they are delayed beyond stipulated times. 

It was also decided that strict austerity measures will be taken and fallowed in every sphere of the government the execution of the proposed development schemes will be ensured at all costs. With regard to tourism, it was reiterated that a ban on deforestation will be ensured and constant watch kept on timber mafia so that the eco-tourism is promoted in the Province. 

The participants of the meeting highly appreciated the steps taken against encroachments and trespassers in Galyat and held that it was a proof of the PTI led Government to ensure the rule of law without any fear or discrimination.
