Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Zakat, Auqaf and Religious Affairs, Haji Habib-ur-Rehman has said that education is pre-requisite for actual progress and development of the country and nation. For the achievement of the desired goals, he urged on both public and private sector institutions to play their responsible role in this regard.
He expressed these views while addressing annual prize distribution ceremony of Hira School and College, Tordher, district Swabi on Tuesday. The ceremony was presided over by MPA Abdul Karim,
The provincial minister said that public and private educational institutions are making effective efforts for the promotion of quality education at their own levels. However, he said that these efforts would prove fruitful only after the acknowledgement of this responsibility as priority by the parents also.
He said that without cooperation of parents this dream could be accomplished.
He stressed both teachers and parents to beside education they should also pay attention for the character building of the children.
