Educational institutions in Khyber Pukhtunkhwa to remain closed for four days as holidays for general election 2013 which to be held on May 11th.
According to notification issued by secretary education Khyber Pukhtunkhwa on Monday educational institutions would be remained closed from May 9th to 12th.
According to rules of Election Commission of Pakistan the polling stations may only be set in government owned buildings such as schools, colleges, community centers and union councils’ offices so most of the educational institutions would be used as polling stations while the staff of these institutions would perform duties in election.
