Entry test for admission into University of Peshawar masters’ degree programme was held under the National Testing Service (NTS) on Sunday.
The test was held in two sessions (shifts) in five test centers’ comprising University Public School, Agricultural University School for Boys, Qurtaba University, Brains Degree College and ICMS Hayatabad Peshawar.
Around seven thousand students have applied for admission in Masters, LLB, M.Com and MBA degree programmes against the four thousand five hundred seats available in forty three departments and institutes of the University of Peshawar this year.
The test was monitored by Director Admissions Prof. Dr. Hizbullah Khan and Regional Coordinator NTS Tahir Aslam. They were assisted by resident inspectors, supervisors and invigilating staff stationed at the respective test centers’.
The candidates appeared in four different categorizes of tests i.e: Arts, General Science, Engineering and Medical, depending on their areas of study and departments they wished to get into.
Result of NTS would be available on NTS website www.nts.org.pk and University of Peshawar website www.upesh.edu.pk within three working days after which merit on the basis of obtained marks of BA/ B. Sc and the test marks would be generated and would displayed at the respective departments and University website on 4th November 2013.
