The FATA Scouts week comprising ofdifferent program opened in City with Abid Majeed, Principal Secretary Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Engr. Shaukat Ullah, was the chief guest on this occasion.
Director Sports and Youth Affair Faisal Jamil Shah, Assistant Director Awan Hussain and senior and junior scout fellow were also present onthis occasion.
Governor Principal Secretary Abid Majeed also gave away cashprizes to the best scouts besides awarding President Gold Medal to the leading scouts.
Speaking on this occasion, Abid Majeed lauded the efforts ofthe scouts from FATA. He said that the scouts of FATA have shown tremendous progress in a short span of time and hopefully they would continue their efforts for rendering valuable services for the people of FATA in difficulttime.
He said that the Boys Scouts have achieved good name and fame for their services they have rendered in different situation.
He said the FATA is passing throughtesting time and the scout activities are very vital for national progress.
He said the FATA Scout is going to celebrate World Literacy Day at Khyber Agency, follow by a walk to be starting from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Jamrud, Khyber Agency.
Later, he awarded trophies, cash prizes and commendation certificatesamong the best scouts.
