All FATA Communal Teachers Association (FCTA) has demanded officials of Education Department FATA for regularization of their posts and urged them to act upon the notification being issued by former Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Chief Justice Peshawar High Court with regard to regularization of them. President (FCTA), Inzar Gul Afridi expressed these views on Saturday in a meeting held in Jamrud where vice president Sadiq Ahmad, finance secretary Gul Munir and others participated. Talking to The Frontier Post, Afridi said they had not been released the salary of four months and despite this, around 701 communal teachers had continued teaching in tribal areas in better interests of children. He blamed education department FATA for keeping aside the notification being issued by the former Governor KP, Masaud Kausar and Chief Justice Peshawar High Court, Dost Mohammad Khan with regard to regularization of communal teachers. He claimed the Governor had issued legal notification on 11, May, 2012 and it says that communal teachers should instantly be regularized. Communal teachers from Orakzai Agency, Kurram Agency, and FR Bannu were regularized one after the other while teachers from Khyber Agency, North and South Waziristan are still waiting for their regularization, president unveiled. He informed that a great number of communal teachers 209 from Khyber Agency and other agencies have been performing their duties in war ravaged areas, though their legal and fair demands were not addressed hitherto. They demanded authorities concerned and Governor KP to meet their ancient demand of regularization and help release their salaries not issued for the last four months. Director education department FATA, Hashim Khan Afridi when contacted for his comments over the matter did not attend the call after repeated efforts.
