A meeting of several private schools functioning in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Sunday discussed the formation of an elected body representing all the institutions in the province.

A press release said that the meeting was held at the Warsak Model School and College, Peshawar, under the chairmanship of its director Fazal Hussain. It said the basic aims and objectives of the body would be to show solidarity with the member schools when and if confronted with any problem besides holding interschool debates and sports competitions.

The meeting said the proposed body would also take concrete steps to improve the quality of education of the schools. All the private schools registered with any of the eight examination boards in the province were invited to give their feedback and guidance in this respect.
