Friendly Cricked Match at Peshawar University

Pakistan Study Centre’s cricket team played a friendly cricket match with Department of History team.

As part of extracurricular activities, Pakistan Study Centre’s cricket team played a friendly cricket match with Department of History team. The match was played on Peshawar University cricket ground.  Before the match both teams were introduced to Dr. Fakhr-ul-Islam Director Pakistan Study Centre. Speaking on the occasion, he stressed the need for holding such events. He appreciated efforts of Prof. Javed Iqbal, Sohaib Abdullah, Muhammad Ibraheem and Shehbaz Khan in making arrangements for the match. Pakistan Study Centre won the toss and captain Asif elected to bat first. The whole team was out on 111 runs. In reply History Department team could score only 56 runs for all out. Pakistan Study Centre’s captain Asif won man of the match award. Dr. Fakhr-ul-Islam has congratulated Pakistan Study Centre’s cricket team on brilliant performance.
