Students of government technical college Peshawar on Friday held a protest demonstration at Sher Shah Suri Road against the delay in announcement of the B-Tech results. They accused the officials of the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Peshawar of adopting delaying tactics in this regard.
The protesters threatened to observe a sit-in outside the UET if the result was not announced within couple of days.
Holding banners and placards inscribed with their demand, the B-Tech students gathered outside Peshawar Press Club and shouted slogans against the controller of examination of the UET for taking too much time in declaring the result.
The students led by B-Tech engineers association organiser Shafiq-ur-Rehman Marwat demanded of the UET vice-chancellor to ensure early announcement of the result.
