The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, Engineer Shaukatullah has hinted to establish a well equipped institution to educate and train special children in FATA and desired that practicable and concrete proposals needs to be incorporated in the budgetary proposals for the next financial year to make its establishment possible.
The Governor desired that FATA Secretariat should come up with necessary proposals to finalize the same on priority. The Governor has further desired that the proposed institution should be of international standards, as far as provision of educating and training material and staff are concerned to cater the needs of special children hailing from all over FATA.
“Today is the Day of Special persons being observed across the world to promote realization amongst societies towards their social and moral responsibilities in catering their needs and our initiative on this auspicious occasion must be true reflection of the aspirations of the special children of FATA; their parents and the humanitarian organizations as well”, he said.He said that this is a humanitarian issue, demanding generous support and patronage from the private sector especially the philanthropists on regular basis to materialize this noble idea. The proposed school for special children of FATA should be planned on pattern on which similar institutions are working in rest of the country.
