The provincial government is planning to accommodate the internally displaced persons (IDPs) from North Waziristan Agency (NWA) in the schools in southern districts. An official communiqué stated on Tuesday that the schools in Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Tank, Karak and Hangu districts would serve as camps for the IDPs affected by military operation in North Waziristan Agency. The headmasters of schools along with watchmen and other staff would be on duty. The washrooms and availability of drinking water would be ensured. The headmasters would also maintain data of IDPs camped in the school.The district education officers would nominate focal persons to supervise the schools and provide details to the provincial government.
