The 3rd meeting of the Advanced Studies and Research Board (ASRB) of the Islamia College University (ICU) Peshawar has approved 57 research topics of its M. Phil and Ph. D scholars.
The ASRB meeting chaired by new acting Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Ihsan Ali Khan and attended by all deans, members of ASRB, research supervisors besides Director Higher Studies and Research, Dr. Abdul Qadar Baloch, discussed at length the validity, depth and research value of the research topics submitted for approval by the research scholars through their respective graduate studies committees.
After necessary amendments 57 research proposals, which were submitted by the research scholars from departments of Pakistan Studies, Urdu, English, Islamic Theology, Arabic Mathematics, Management Sciences, and Zoology were approved by the ASRB.
