Information Minister visits examination halls

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information and Public Relations, Shah Farman on Monday paid surprise visit to various examinations halls at Hayatabad and reviewed the conduct of SSC examination.

He also apprised himself of the monitoring of examination system. The Minister was told that the examination process was being monitored in line with the institutions of the government and for ensuring its transparency, section 144 has been imposed in the jurisdiction of examination centres while monitoring through CCTV cameras was also ensured.

Shah Farman on the occasion directed the administrative staff to keep vigil eye over the activities of booti mafia and cheating in examination. He said strict action would be taken against the elements involved in sabotaging the examination process and cheating in examinations.

He said the journey of change could be completed only through standard education. He said without imparting quality education to our younger generation, the dream of a developed and prosper society could not be materialized.

He said in the past some vested interests had made the education system limited to certain segments of society but the PTI government was taking steps on emergent basis for spreading education and improving education system in the province.

He said soon the children of poor would be able to get the same education as was achieved by the children of rich people. He advised the students to concentrate on education as respect in society was possible only through hard study.

Shah Farman said the students making cheating in examination were depriving hard working and efficient students from their rights and making fraud with their parents. 

He appealed the parents to assist the government in its efforts to stop the menace of cheating in examinations and to concentrate over their children’s education.
