Inoki visits Govt Higher Secondary School No 1

World famous Japanese wrestler Muhammad Hussain Inoki has said that warm welcome and hospitality given by the dwellers of Peshawar to him and his 13-member wrestling team was a proof of fact that people of this region were peace loving and hospitable.

This he said on Thursday during his visit to Government Higher Secondary School No 1 Peshawar Cantt. A lunch was also hosted in his honour by Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Syed Aqil Shah. The teachers and students garlanded Inoki and his team members and threw petals of flowers over them. 

Muhammad Hussain Inoki addressing the students said the brightness in the eyes of the students showed that they were very intelligent and talented. Inoki’s team members also played a friendly match of tug of war and wrestling with the students. 

National anthems of Pakistan and Japan were also sung on the occasion.

Provincial Minister for Sports Syed Aqil Shah speaking on the occasion said that Inoki and his team had come to Peshawar for promotion of peace and portraying soft image of the province in the whole world. He thanked Inoki for this support in this regard. Syed Aqil Shah also announced to provide sports equipment worth 0.1 million rupees to Govt Higher Secondary School No 1.
