   • 40 years for full time regular faculty members of public sector Universities/Colleges and employees of the public sector R & D organizations
   • 35 years for all others
5. Applicants need to have minimum cumulative 50% academic marks as per HEC Academic Evaluation Formula (HEC-AEF). The HEC-AEF is available at HEC website
6. Applicants must have secured admission into a PhD program in the University of Cambridge for Fall 2015 session. However Master’s Admission in the University of Cambridge will only be accepted if that is required for the PhD.

General Description

Lamudi have launched this scholarship fund to help aspiring students make their dreams a reality and also give them a sneak peek into the real corporate life sector-to prepare them for their future endeavors.

According to UNESCO’s 2009 Global Education Digest, only 6 percent of Pakistanis were university graduates as of 2007, with the Government’s plans to increase this figure to 10 percent by 2015. Lamudi is playing its role to increase this figure and help deserving students who have access to lesser opportunities, fulfill thier education dream.

However, in order to be eligible for this scholarship fund, students need to meet a certain criteria which requires a minimum GPA of 2.7/4 and a majors in economic, business, marketing or other related fields. Description

SAHC is an Erasmus Mundus masters course in Structural Analysis of Monuments and Historical Constructions, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. The objective of SAHC is to offer an advanced education programme on the engineering of conservation of structures, with a focus on architectural heritage. The main focus of this training is the application of scientific principles in analysis, innovation and practice of conservation of monuments and historical constructions worldwide.

The Masters Course has duration of one academic year and is held on a rotating basis among partner universities in Europe, so each student follows coursework in one partner institution and dissertation in another one. The language of instruction and examinations is English. Scholarships sponsored by the European Commission are available to applicants. Additionally, a number of scholarships financed by the Consortium are planned for students from any geographical origin.

Course Dates & Application Deadlines

The SAHC Erasmus Mundus Masters Course starts in early September and finishes in late July every academic year. The application deadlines are as below:

• The deadline of the 2nd call is due by May 20, 2015. All applications submitted within this deadline are automatically considered also as applications to a Consortium scholarship.
• This last call is also opened to all students. The deadline of the 3rd and last call is due by July 20, 2015. However, scholarships will be offered only if the Consortium scholarships available during the 2nd call were not fully allocated.

General Description

The European Institutes for Advanced Study (EURIAS) Fellowship Programme is an international researcher mobility programme offering 10-month residencies in one of the 16 participating Institutes: Berlin, Bologna, Budapest, Cambridge, Delmenhorst, Edinburgh, Freiburg, Helsinki, Jerusalem, Lyon, Marseille, Paris, Uppsala, Vienna, Wassenaar, Zürich. The Institutes for Advanced Study support the focused, self-directed work of outstanding researchers. The fellows benefit from the finest intellectual and research conditions and from the stimulating environment of a multi-disciplinary and international community of first-rate scholars.

EURIAS Fellowships are mainly offered in the fields of the humanities and social sciences but may also be granted to scholars in life and exact sciences, provided that their proposed research project does not require laboratory facilities and that it interfaces with humanities and social sciences. The diversity of the 16 participating IAS offers a wide range of possible research contexts in Europe for worldwide scholars. Applicants may select up to three IAS outside their country of nationality or residence as possible host institutions.

The Programme welcomes applications worldwide from promising young scholars (postdoc) as well as from leading senior researchers. The EURIAS selection process has proven to be highly competitive. In order to match the Programme standards, applicants have to submit a solid and innovative research proposal, to demonstrate the ability to forge beyond disciplinary specialisation, to show an international commitment as well as quality publications in high-impact venues.

Number of Fellowships

For the 2016-2017 academic year, EURIAS offers 43 fellowships (21 junior and 22 senior positions).

All IAS have agreed on common standards, including the provision of a living allowance (in the range of € 26,000 for a junior fellow and € 38,000 for a senior fellow), accommodation (or a mobility allowance), a research budget, plus coverage of travel expenses.

General Description

Applicants must be from a developing country (except OFID Member Countries), and he/she must first obtain admission to pursue a Master’s degree studies in a relevant field of development, from any recognized university/college in the world. Through its scholarship scheme, OFID aims to help highly motivated, highly driven individuals overcome one of the biggest challenges to their careers – the cost of graduate studies. The winners of the OFID Scholarship Award will receive a scholarship of up to US$50,000. The funds will be spread over a maximum of one year, toward the completion of a Master’s degree, or its equivalent, at an accredited educational institution, starting in the autumn of the academic year 2015/2016.

Application Guidelines

• STEP 1: Ensure that you fulfill the OFID Scholarship Award Eligibility Criteria.
• STEP 2: Register within the OFID Scholarship Portal by using your email address. Please note you can log onto the portal as many times as required before finally submitting the application.
• STEP 3: Fill out the application form. Make sure to save data each time you update your application. Once you are logged in, if the page remains inactive for more than two hours, your session will time-out and you may lose unsaved data. Do not submit your application until you have completed the entire application process!
• STEP 4: Upload necessary documents: CV, two recommendation letters, Bachelor’s certificate/transcript, acceptance letter into postgraduate program and essay.

Eligibility

• Must be between the ages of 23-32 at the time of submitting his/her application.
• Must have obtained or be on the verge of completing their undergraduate degree with a Baccalaureate from an accredited college/university, or its equivalent.
• Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 rating system, or its equivalent.
• Must be matriculated at an accredited university for the upcoming academic year starting August/September 2015, and must maintain full-time status for the duration of the Master’s Degree.

Description:

• Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology, the School of Urban and Environmental Engineering offers M.S. and Ph.D. positions in the “Structural Reliability and Disaster Laboratory”.
• The major research interests of the Structural Reliability and Disaster Risk lab lie on structural reliability, network reliability, disaster risk assessment, and risk-based structural design and maintenance. We investigate the performance of structures and lifeline networks under service loads and/or disasters using probabilistic approaches, for design, maintenance, and disaster management.

General Principles

The guiding principles of the program are as follows:

• All foreign citizens are eligible for the Khazar University Scholarship Program further referred to as KUISP.
• KUISP is available for potential students of all four schools of the University.
• Applicants to bachelor, masters and PhD programs are eligible to apply for KUISP.
• Every year two scholarships, each covering the cost of the full tuition fee, will be awarded to citizens of each country who apply to Khazar University programs.
• The scholarship is provided for one year subject to prolongation based on the academic performance of the grantee.
• The scholarship covers the cost of the tuition fee for the whole program term, but does not cover living and travel expenses.
• Khazar University conducts evaluation and the selection of submitted applications via document screening and Skype interviews with shortlisted applicants. The details and the time frame of the selection are specified in the KUISP time schedule (Section IV below).

• Good academic performance records of the previous education stage (high school, bachelor or master programs)
• Good English language skill. Standardized English language test scores are not compulsory. However, the applicants with standardized scores (valid TOEFL/IELTS scores: expired scores are not accepted) will have competitive advantage. Holders of International Bachelor degree certificates or diplomas from a high school with English as a major medium of instruction do not need a language skill justification document.

• Minimum 18 years of Education in relevant discipline from HEC recognized university/Institution with First division in the last degree and not less than 50% marks in the entire academic career.
• The candidate must have qualified NTS-GAT (General/subject) with minimum of 50% marks (accumulative) or has qualified the International GRE.
• Maximum age limit should be 35 years and relax able to 40 years only for regular employees of the Public Sector University/DAIs and R&D institutions. The age will be calculated on the closing date of the applications.

Scholarship awards will be tenable for four years from April, 2016 to March, 2020 including one-year preparatory education in the Japanese language and other subjects due to be provided upon arrival in Japan. For scholarship grantees majoring in maritime engineering, the term of scholarship will be four and a half years up to September, 2020.
