Vice Chancellor Khyber Medical University (KMU) Monday assured provision of all available resources to make Khyber Institute of Dental Sciences (KIDS) in district Kohat the best dental college in the province. Presiding over a meeting of heads of different departments here, he said the provincial government has agreed to provide Frontier Education Foundation’s building on lease for the college, adding the soon after getting possession, the infrastructure of KIDS would be shifted in new building. He further informed that work on classes and laboratories have already been started while 75 dental chairs are also being installed. Measures are being taken to meet the staff deficiency, he added. The VC said that after getting functional and operational, the college would provide best dental treatment to people of district Kohat and adjoining areas, besides introducing new trend in dental sciences.
