Khyber Medical University on Saturday announced the results for BDS third professional annual examination 2012 showing a pass percentage of 89, says a press release of KMU.
The students of Khyber College of Dentistry Saulat Jehan, Sara Ali and Seema Abid secured first, second and third positions in the exam by obtaining 493, 489 and 486 marks out of 600 respectively.
In all 122 candidates appeared in the examination of whom 109 were declared successful.
Khyber College of Dentistry, a component institute of the Khyber Medical College stood first with 94 percent pass percentage as out of 78 candidates, 73 managed to get through the exam. The pass percentage of Ayub Medical College Dental Section was 82 percent as out of 44 students, 36 were declared successful.
Vice Chancellor KMU Prof Dr Muhammad Hafeezullah while lauding performance of the successful candidates in the exam expressed the confidence that they would not only maintain their present education standard but would strive hard to bring further improvement in it. He congratulated the successful students and their parents over the success of their children in the exam.
