KMU announces MBBS 2013 results

Khyber Medical University (KMU) has announced results of MBBS 3rd professional annual examinations 2013. A total of 603 students were declared successful out of the total 1143 students of 10 medical colleges of the province who appeared in the examinations.

According to details issued by examination section of KMU, Mamunur Rashid, student of Khyber Medical College Peshawar, has clinched first position by securing 488 marks, Sofia Bano of Ayub Medical College and Amber Kazmi of KMU Institute of Medical Sciences Kohat remained second and third by securing 470 and 466 marks respectively. The examination result of Khyber Medical College Peshawar remained 60 percent, Ayub Medical College 59 percent, Gomal Medical College D. I. Khan 75 percent, Saidu Medical College Swat 36 percent, Khyber Girls Medical College Peshawar 75 percent, Jinnah Medical College 19 percent, KMU Institute of Medical Sciences Kohat, 53 percen, Medical College Bannu 37 pecrcent, Women Medical College Abbotabad 57 percent and Abbotbad International Medical college 15 percent.

Vice Chancellor Khyber Medical University Peshawar Dr Muhammad Hafizullah congratulated the successful candidates and expressed the hope that they would continue to work hard in future. 

He appreciated examination section of KMU by introducing uniform system of examinations for all medical colleges of the province that is widely appreciated by the students, parents, faculty and administration of the colleges.
