KMU starts online registration for medical entry test

Khyber Medical University (KMU) has started online registration of students intending to get admission in public and private medical and dental colleges of the province.

The spokesman of KMU said here on Friday that the online registration was started on July 23 and would continue till August 16, adding that during the last three days as many as 3,000 candidates submitted their online applications. He advised the students to pay entry test fee of Rs. 1500 at designated branches of Allied Bank of Pakistan and get their pin code in return from the bank.

The students would have to get themselves registered by filling their online forms available at the website of the university, www.kmu.edu.pk after entering the pin code.

The official said that students would get their admit card online soon after complete submission of their forms and would also be intimated through SMS on their given mobile numbers. The students would have to get a print of the admit card and produce it at the time of entry test, he added.

It is pertinent to mention here that KMU is the only university of the country that had introduced the online registration process for holing entry test in colleges. Meanwhile, the students and parents have expressed satisfaction over the online registration process and termed it a secure and easy to access system.
