Post and under graduate students of Khyber Medical University (KMU) Thursday received laptops under Prime Minister Laptop schemes. Provincial Minister for Health Sheram Khan Taraqai while distributing the laptops among the students said appreciated the curricular and research activities of the university in health sector. He said the provision of laptops would not only help improve knowledge based abilities of the students but enable them to further expand their vision in research field. The Minister said KMU can help provincial government in bringing reforms in health sector to improve health facilities in the province besides coping with emerging challenges and diseases. Vice Chancellor of KMU Professor Dr Muhammad Hafizullah on the occasion lauded the laptop scheme and hoped that the students would use these laptops for educational and research purposes.
