The Management and Staff of Khyber Teaching Hospital, Peshawar convened a condolence meeting in the Conference Room for the tragic death of Dr. Shaukat Hayat Masood Blood Bank officer of KTH who was killed last night at Haytabad by unknown killers. The KTH staff strongly condemns his murder and demanded from government to probe in to the incidence and take strict legal action for the arrest of criminals.
The Principle staff officer highlighted that Dr. Shaukat Hayat was a noble person and sympathetic with ailing humanity and loyal to his colleagues. He always respected his senior and junior. They also said that the Health department lost precious assets.
Meanwhile Provincial Doctors Association (PDA) issue a condemnation statement regarding the killing of Dr.Shaukat Hayat Msood and said that the provincial government were fully failed to give security to the doctors community as the killing of doctors were on the rise in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
They also said that every day doctors were receiving threats of murders as many doctors were shifted to Islamabad and other places because of the threats from the criminals and extortionists, adding that if such a situation was carry on in the province they would be compelled to go on strike from all the hospitals.
