Literacy Day held at GGS

Assistant District Education Officer, Maryum Rasheed Thursday urged parents to contribute in national building process by educating their children according to modern and contemporary education standards. Addressing a ceremony held in connection with Literacy Day at Government Girls School (GGS) Meerakzai, she highlighted the significance of education for progress and development saying respected position among comity of nation can only be achieved by giving education a preferred engagement in our schedule.

She said that education is a key needed to achieve our goals of prosperity and achievement adding each and every segment of society should realize its importance. She also underlined the need of increasing literacy rate and stressed to maximize enrollment in schools
