Corps Commander Peshawar, Lieutenant General Khalid Rabbani has said that respected profession of teaching is a commitment and dedication that aims to further nurture the hidden capabilities of new generation.He expressed these views in a certificate awarding ceremony of Army Public School and Colleges System (APSAC) here Saturday. Begum Corps Commander was the Chief Guest on the occasion.Corps Commander congratulated the organizers for successful holding of the event and said that although APSAC is partly new yet its endeavors are worth mentioning and well oriented.
He said that significant of teachers in the society cannot be undermined as they are responsible for the character building of our new generation.He said that APSACS is fully discharging its social obligations by teaching children of each and social strata and expressed the hope that the system would further flourish with each passing day. Lieutenant General Khalid Rabbani also appreciated the efforts of Azra Yasmin, Regional coordinator, Lieutenant Colonel, Irtiza Shaheen of APSCAC secretariat for their efforts to enhance the working and efficiency of the secretariat.
Earlier Begum Corps Commander and Corps Commander distributed certificates among principals, session heads and teachers for achieving excellence and showing professional exuberance in their duties. Principal of the year award was given to Tahira Qazi of Army Public School (APS) Peshawar while Schools of the year trophies were awarded to APS Mardan and APS Junior Peshawar.
