During the last decade in Pakistan in general and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in particular; the absence of peace and tranquility has terribly affected all the sectors of life. The media and youth have to play wide role in the restoration of Peace. Liaison Corporation (LC) while fulfilling its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR); has planned a two days event by the name of Mega Challenge 2013. It is a youth recreational event that comprises of competitions among the educational institutions of Peshawar along with other social events including Funfair, Urdu Mushaira, Pashto Mushaira and Concert.
The theme of the entire event is Peace & Youth. We alongwith our partner organizations; Tourism Corporation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (TCKP), Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa & Voice of Youth and Host Institute; Institute of Management Sciences (IM|Sciences) Peshawar and Facilitating Partners, aim to use the youth as ambassadors for promoting peace and media to send the message of peace across the globe.
