Health Minister Shaukat Ali Yousufzai Wednesday said provincial government would take all possible steps in order to bring considerable changes in the health sector to provide best possible health facilities to the patients without any discrimination.
Presiding over a meeting at Khyber Medical University (KMU), the Health Minister said the provincial government has set up various working groups in different sectors to chalk out comprehensive and practical policies while keeping in view the resources, problems and issues.
He said a working group constituted for health sector has been divided into three groups that are holding meetings on daily basis to give a comprehensive health policy soon.
The Minister lauded the efforts of KMU in medical sciences, research work and professional education in basic medical sciences, public health, paramedics, nursing and physiotherapy .
He assured provincial government’s support to KMU for coping with modern days’ challenges and said that PTI government would come up to the expectations of the varsity.
