Orphan Care program launched in FATA

Al-Khidmat Foundation Pakistan (AKFP) has launched Orphan Care Program in FATA to provide patronage to 10,000 children who became victims of terrorism, drone attacks and military operations during the last five years.

The Program was formally launched here at Peshawar Press Club on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion AKFP President Dr Hafeez ur Rehman told that 10,000 orphan children across the tribal areas would be provided financial assistance and free education in order to enable them to meet the challenges.

He informed that each orphan would be granted Rs2500 per month. He urged philanthropists to donate generously for the orphans through the foundation.
