Pakistan Forest Institute (PFI), Peshawar is implementing a project titled “Conservation and sustainable use of high valued medicinal plants and promotion of indigenous knowledge” with the objective to establish demonstration plots in the farmer’s field to create awareness among local communities of the project area about cultivation through short training courses.
Under this project Medicinal Plant Branch has conducted a short training course on Conservation and Ethno-botanical uses of Medicinal Plants. The course was intended for researchers, farmers, collectors, herbal traders/pharmaceutical workers and drug dealers.
