Director General, Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Mohammad Tahir Orakzai said the provincial Reconstruction Rehabilitation & Settlement Authority-PaRRSA is struggling with its all resources to complete construction work on militancy hit damaged schools in Malakand Division.
He expressed his viewpoints in inaugural ceremonies of newly reconstructed Govt. Middle School Nawagai and Govt Girls Middle Bur Bandai Swat with the financial assistance of USAID.
He said, PaRRSA is in coordination with all stakeholders to speed up the school’s reconstruction works and complete the constructions in speculated time. While addressing to the students of both schools he said, success without education is not possible and with quality of education, you may access to your bright future.
He said, in future, you students will perform best in the development of Pakistan. Students presented tableau and skits during the inaugural ceremonies. Muhammad Tahir Orakzai directed the concerned officials to provide generator, and electric supply to Govt. Girl School Bur Bandai Swat. He also directed to heighten the boundary wall of said school on instant bases.
He also awarded bright students of both schools. According to spokesman PaRRSA, USAID is providing free furniture, school bags and lab equipment to newly reconstructed schools in Malakand Division.
He said, newly reconstructed schools have been handed over to education department and educational activities started in these schools.
