The Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has said that the cause of education is one of the top most priorities of his government and for this purpose special measures are being taken to make up the deficiency of staff and provide all other necessary facilities in the public sector schools.
He directed that the process of filling up the vacant posts of principals/ headmasters in schools and disposing off the pending promotion cases of teachers should be completed soon.
He said the equal education policy of PTI-led coalition govt would bring about revolution in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and would not only enhance talents of our youth but would open new vistas of progress and prosperity in all sectors of life in the region.
He expressed these views while talking to a delegation of School Officers Association Khyber Pakhtunkhwa that called him at CM secretariat Peshawar. The Chief Minister directed the high ups of Establishment and Education Departments present on the occasion to complete the scrutiny and codal formalities of all the pending promotion cases within two weeks and the meeting of provincial selection board should be held soon to dispose of all the cases.
He further directed the authorities of Education department to remove all the hurdles in the promotion cases and send it to establishment department as soon as possible so that it could be further processed without delay.
