Pesco is committed to resolve Customer complaints immediately and in this regard several important steps have been taken to improve it further more.Pesco with the collaboration of Centre for Intelligent System & Networks Research (CISNR) of University of Engineering & Technology Peshawar has launched a device to detect,curb,and eradicate the anomalies of under billing,over billing & Electricity theft. Chairman Board of Director Pesco Malik Muhammad Asad Khan had already approved the said program in the board meeting. General Manager Finance Pesco Anwar Ul Haq Yousafzai was the chief guest in the launching ceremony which was held at Hayat Abad sub division Peshawar. Program organizers Dr.Gul Muhammad Khan and Dr. Sahibzada Ali Mehmood were also present on this occasion. GM Finance Anwar Ul Haq Yousafzai applauded the program and extended Pesco’s full support in implementing this Smart Phone based Meter Reading solution to curb misuse of energy and over billing issues.
The project Directors Dr.Gul Muhammad Khan and Dr.Sahibzada Ali Mehmood also briefed the staff about the present meter reading system and discussed various solutions to the problems pointed out by the meter readers during the training session.Xen Khyber Division Akhtar Hameed was also present and appreciated the efforts.He also announced that the Metero Cure solution will be implement in phase three Hayatabad in the up coming months.
Meter Readers who completed the training were awarded certificates and smart phones by the Chief Guest.
