Asif Ali Shah, a student of Centre of Biotechnology and Microbiology, University of Peshawar has been awarded with the prestigious Erasmus Mundus scholarship programme for the undergraduate level. He would shortly proceed to the University College Dublin, Ireland for attending two semesters study in the field of biotechnology there.
The student Friday met with Vice Chancellor University of Peshawar Prof. Dr. Muhammad Rasul Jan. He congratulated him on his achievement and termed it as pride moment for the institution and parents of the scholar. The students of University of Peshawar are second to none in the country and distinctions like these show their resilience to standout and excel in their fields of specialties, added the Vice Chancellor.
It merits a mention that scholar Asif Ali Khan, before, was also awarded with the exchange programme to the United States of America under the US Department of States` Kennedy-Lugar study exchange programme.
