PUTA shows concern over load shedding in Peshawar university

President Peshawar University Teachers’ Association (PUTA) Jamil Ahmad Chitrali on Wednesday said that load shedding duration in UoP was 12 to 20 hours which was far more than load shedding duration in the other area which is affecting studies of students. 

PUTA President demanded Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Governor for providing special feeder to the varsity as universities in Sindh and Punjab were given. 

He said that increase in the duration of load shedding in the varsity compared to other area were seeming as if some elements were provoking teachers and students for protests and strikes but before that he demanded PESCO to take immediate action against the matter otherwise the company would responsible if God forbid unpleasant incident took placed due to the load shedding.

Jamil Ahmed said PUTA has already expressed its concern to administration of University of Peshawar and hoped action would be taken on their concerns.
