A meeting of University Employees Association of Majlis-e-Amila was held on Wednesday which was presided over by Haji Salah Uddin and informed the participants of rude behavior of newly appointed vice Chancellor and his brutality. Salah Uddin president of UEA of agriculture informed office bearers about some issues relating to corruption. Participants of meeting also regretted over the behavior of vice Chancellor, who declined to meet them. During the meeting, they took some decision unanimously. They demanded of the incumbent government to solve the matter of permanent vice chancellor of university because the Versity was on verge of destruction. They also demanded that steps to take search committee interviews in English to be taken. A notice to be taken over the irregularities in investment of GPF, they demanded. Asking, that who would solve their issues as vice chancellor has declined to meet them, they said. They also demanded government to appoint competent and deserving man on the aforementioned position.
They appealed high ups to stop torturing poor employees of university. As the office bearers of UEA would tie black ribbon from today against the irregularities and torturing of vice chancellor on employees.
The employees would protest in front of press club, provincial assembly and announce holding hunger strike outside of the University of Peshawar on Friday made it clear that they would announce on coming Friday, they revealed and saying the vice chancellor was pressurizing the employees.
