The students of College of Home Economics showcased a variety of artwork at the two-day annual exhibition arranged by the Department of Art and Design at University of Peshawar (UoP).
Textile designing and printing, graphics communication, ceramics, architecture and interior designing and marketing and advertising were put on display at the exhibition. The theme Pakistan of the exhibition was “A country of history, culture and art or the pictorial representation of the story and colors of our provinces.
UoP Vice Chancellor Dr Muhammad Rasul Jan inaugurated the exhibition. He visited stalls and evinced keep interest in the artwork and appreciated the talent of the students. Principal of the College of Home Economics Dr Kaneez Fatima and faculty members also accompanied the vice-chancellor.
Dr Rasul Jan said the work done by the young artists revealed that they had the skills and potential to become successful entrepreneurs. He said industrialists and traders should benefit from the work of the students.
